Our far-reaching and dynamic distribution network enables quick and easy consumer access, the key point for business success. Wherever our customers are, we will reach them.

  • Multipharma has 14 nationwide distribution outlets. With a total area of almost 12,000 square meters, our outlets effectively cover Egypt’s main governorates and districts including Cairo, Giza, Embaba, Alexandria, Tanta, Mansoura, Assyut, Qena, Ismailia, Beni Suef, Damanhoor, Shebin El Anater, Sohag and El Sharqia.
     
  • Our main warehouse is located in Cairo with a total area of 3,500 square meters.
     
  •  These branches are well-supported with 100 refrigerator-equipped distribution trucks; 9 trucks with an average capacity of 5 tons are based in the main warehouse and the remaining 91 trucks have an average capacity of 1.5 tons.
     
  •  Our distribution team covers 18,000 pharmacies daily.
     
  • The branches’ telesales reach over 4,000 pharmacies every day.
     
  • Our sales team makes 4,500 daily visits.
     
  • We have a dedicated team of 30 in charge of tenders and hospitals covering around 900 hospital key accounts throughout Egypt.
     
  • We proudly serve around 3,500 clients daily.
Importation

We developed extensive global partnerships to import first-rate products fulfilling the needs of our customers. Our importation department manages these operations and oversees delivery. The team is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods using cost-effective measures. Import managers organize the best means of transport; be it by air, road, rail or ship based on the type of goods, customer needs and the size and type of organization with which the department works.


Responsibilities and Duties of the Importation Department

  • Acquiring the registration license and price certificates for newly imported products and following up on the registration file for each company at the Ministry of Health.
     
  • Issuing purchase orders for imported products affiliated with various agencies.
  • Receiving and following up on all shipments including:
  1.  Receipt of the shipment at customs.
  2. Obtaining the approvals of the Drug Policy and Planning Center or pharmacies.
  3. Guaranteeing access of the shipment to stores.Employing the best means of transport, routes and any special requirements in the handling and care of goods being transported.
  •  Following-up on the inspection procedures of the goods by the Ministry of Health until their release and sale in the market.
     
  • Opening letters of credit for each shipment.
     
  • Following-up on contracts with all companies and legalizing them.
